Congratulations to Dave Paterson and Danielle Thompson for winning 2 new spots on Borough Council. Congratulations to Kevin Begely for retaining his seat. I would also like to take the time to commend Matthew Stone for an outstanding Democrat turnout in a traditionally Republican town.
A lot of foul play went on today by a certain few marking out Mr. Paterson's name from the Republican sample ballot. Let's hope shananigans like this stay out of Council Chambers. I hope that a lesson was learned that when the people vote, they expect to be represented by the people they voted for. Not a hand selected few by a pompous head of the Eddystone Republican Party.
