Temporary Borough Manager About the Job----> Eddystone Borough, PA, population approximately 2400 (2000 census), located in Delaware County, PA, is seeking a qualified and experienced TEMPORARY BOROUGH MANAGER. The successful candidate will report to a 7 member Borough Council. The Borough has a budget of $3,700,000 and employs 13 full time employees and 58 part time and/or seasonal employees. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years experience in municipal management and council-manager form of government is preferred. Knowledge of PA municipal law is required and also strong administrative skills in budgeting/fiscal management, personnel management, code enforcement, grant writing and zoning and land use. Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel is a must. Candidate should also have knowledge of PeachTree and payroll to include PayChex. Ability to create a wide variety of spreadsheets and manage a budget.
